Arizona College Republicans National Committeeman Ricky Guthridge Meets with Kari Lake, Discuss 2024
Ricky Guthridge, the CRA National Committeeman from Arizona, recently met with Senate candidate Kari Lake to discuss issues facing the country, Republican recruitment efforts, and more. The meeting comes as CRA and the Republican Party begin mobilization efforts for the pivotal 2024 election.
A news anchor turned politico, Lake was a gubernatorial candidate for Arizona during the 2022 midterms. Working an exceptional campaign, Lake lost the state by less than 1% to her democratic opponent, Katie Hobbs. Believing 2024 will be a year of country-wide Republican victory, Lake has already announced her intent to run in the upcoming Arizona senate race.
Among many other campaign promises, Lake has sworn to secure the border, enforce E-verify, expand pregnancy resources for aspiring families, and restructure American education to incentivize trade schools and community college.
Guthridge, a member of the CRA Board of Governors and strong supporter of the senate hopeful, said he was happy to meet with her and discuss the crucial issues facing the youth and the country at large.
“Kari Lake is a great American who was fed up with the current system of doing nothing and decided to take action,” Guthridge remarked. “As a person, she cared and showed empathy toward our hard work recruiting, training, and mobilizing young people to elect Republicans.”
Guthridge said he was confident that Republicans would win Arizona, a critical swing state, in next year’s election. “Kari Lake will be the next senator from Arizona with her message of uprooting the system and building an America for all people,” he exclaimed. “Arizonans and Americans are tired of career politicians who don’t care about their constituents or the country.”
From President Donahue’s meeting with Donald Trump to Guthridge’s meeting with Kari Lake, the College Republicans of America is steadily becoming one of the most influential right-wing organizations in the country.
